    Hatima is the most famous volcanic crater in the high mountains of the village of Taba, known as the Salma Mountains, in the Shanana governorate of the Hail region in the north of the Kingdom. It is about 5 kilometers from the village.\nHistorians have called it (Hutima) in relation to the low land surrounded by rocky mounds. This volcano has become dormant at the present time.\n What distinguishes this crater is its special nature, where the visitor can watch the water turn into heaps of salt after it dries up
